About Alpina

Original Swiss Sports Watch

ALPINE sports watch - started in 1883

The Alpina watch is known for its red triangle logo and is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Alpina was founded in 1883 and has a watchmaking history of more than 130 years.

As a veritable pioneer in Swiss watchmaking, Alpina has a number of patented technologies and a variety of innovative movements. With the birth of the legendary "Alpina 4" wristwatch in 1938, Alpina pioneered the now widely known Swiss sports watch concept.

Today, Alpina is one of the very few Swiss watch brands that have completely independently developed, produced and assembled movements. Alpina launches five self-produced movements: AL-980 Tourbillon movement; AL-718 world-time movement; AL-950 automatic correction movement; AL-710 automatic small date movement; and the latest Al-760 return timing The movement uses an exclusive patented "Direct Flyback" technology.

Alpina, adhering to a long tradition of innovation, launched the first "Swiss-made smart watch" in 2015 to create a new watch category in the Swiss watch industry.

Alpina's mission is to design and create a luxury sports watch that can maintain accurate and reliable operation even in extremely demanding sports environments (such as the Alps).
